Another month has FLOWN by! February was full of love, adventure, good eats, big decisions (more on that later), and family time. We spent 9 days away from home, celebrated birthdays, watched the Super Bowl, spent time outside, traveled 5038 miles by air, climbed a mountain, and enjoyed the sunshine! I baked a lot of yummy treats but I gave 99% of them away! Trying to stick to my resolutions and healthy living goals 🙂 I love finding ways to celebrate every day. Flowers! Sprinkles! I’m a cookie monster through and through. If it’s true that you are what you eat, then I’m 100% cookies. Kidding. But in a perfect world, I would eat zero calorie cookies all day long. Now that I’m on a health kick, cookies aren’t making it into my life as much as they used to. However, as soon as these Monsters come into the picture, it’s game over. Peanut butter. Chocolate. Sweet. Salty. Ooey gooey crunchy deliciousness…. These are probably the most requested treat I’ve ever made and I have my amazing mom to thank for the recipe. Growing up, I remember making 4-5 batches of these before every skating competition (you know, good “bus” or “plane” food for 20+ starving girls) and they have since been known as Mrs. Schae Bars.
