HAPPY FRIDAY! We’re 1 week through August and after last weekend’s little breakdown/epiphany that we aren’t moving back to Nashville anytime soon, I’m feeling much better – rejuvenated and ready to take on life up here. AND it’s almost fall which means beautiful Midwestern colors and FOOTBALL. I also shared good news on Instagram this week – I accepted a job offer with The Blake School and Sally’s Baking Addiction, and am incredibly excited to get started. Both of these positions fill my heart with so much joy and I know this means for positive changes all around. All of […]
Blueberries. Bananas. Peanut butter. Oats. Is there any more perfect breakfast combination?! Today, I’m sharing my recipe for gluten free + vegan blueberry banana PB2 baked oatmeal. Nutrient dense and packed with flavor, this will jump start your day and keep you full and focused until lunchtime. AND it tastes almost like dessert without it actually being dessert. WIN WIN!
Friends! It has been a while since I’ve posted a recipe – it’s been a little bit crazy here over the past few weeks but I can’t wait to get back to sharing our favorite recipes. They’re like my Mrs. Schae Bars minus the pretzels and Chex plus oats and chocolate chips. Still peanut butter-y goodness, just in puffy, gooey, cookie form. There’s so much freedom with this […]
Peanut butter. Chocolate. Sweet. Salty. Ooey gooey crunchy deliciousness…. These are probably the most requested treat I’ve ever made and I have my amazing mom to thank for the recipe. Growing up, I remember making 4-5 batches of these before every skating competition (you know, good “bus” or “plane” food for 20+ starving girls) and they have since been known as Mrs. Schae Bars.
In an effort to continue eating healthfully (did you know it takes 21 days on average for habits to stick?) but still have a sweet treat once in a while, I whipped up these delicious Vegan & Gluten Free Pumpkin Muffins.
